Cleanliness is next to godliness so goes a famous saying. How true be clean in body mind soul and surroundings and your life on earth will be a living paradise. Goa is a beautiful place known for its scenic beauty. The green fields and the ascading waterfalls not to mention it’s forests and beaches all attract a large number of tourists from all over the world. The problem of garbage has reached disastrous heights. Indiscriminate littering of plastic spitting in public and everywhere has taken its toll on public cleanliness. This is beginning to cause several health problems and extensive damage to the flora and fauna of our beautiful Goa so it is high time all of us wake up to the menace of pollution and start on a manic drive of cleanliness. Children should be taught to reduce, reuse and recycle.
